3M Scotchcast 4435 Sheath Scuff 1" x 75' 60440227183
This flexible 80 grit, non-conductive, aluminum oxide strip is used to clean and rough up cable sheath. The clean, scuffed sheath greatly enhances the bond between the compound and sheath. Since the strip is 25.4 mm (1") wide, it encourages the craftsperson to scuff around the sheath rather than along it, thus eliminating moisture paths along the sheath, and also makes it easy to get into tight places.
