MTP® Cassette 1x12 Fiber MTP/APC Elite-Male With Pins LC/UPC 12 Fiber SM LGX A-Polarity
This 12 fiber MTP®-to-LC Cassette is built specifically for High Density Fiber Cable Data solutions. This MTP® Cassette comes pre-terminated with (1) 12 Fiber Male MTP® connector on the back side, and 12 separate LC connectors on the front panel. Inside the MTP® cassette there is fan out (or breakout) cable assembly from the LC connector in the front, to the MTP® connector in the back, giving a quick and easy plug-and-play data solution. This cassette uses an angled polish connector with ultra low insertion loss (MTP® Elite Cables reduce the amount of insertion loss by up to 50% when compared to standard MTP® connectors and traditional MPO connectors).
From the front of your cassette you may patch out with standard duplex (or simplex) fiber optic patch cables to your equipment such as an SFP module or fiber optic media converter. The cassette can be installed in either a vertical or a horizontal MPO cassette holder.
The use of our MTP® cassettes in the data center offers the advantage of greater manageability and amiability with a modular infrastructure. It also allows for rapid deployment of fiber optic cabling in data centers, corporate campuses, or any high density installation. As future connectivity requirements change, cassettes can be easily exchanged to meet those needs, while leaving the existing trunk cable infrastructure in place. These cassettes are designed to fit our standard LGX termination box enclosures.
