This rugged NEMA 3X enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Red PC+ABS, a high tech thermoplastic blend of polycarbonate and ABS which combines the best qualities of both into a single material. PC+ABS enclosures are superior to ABS enclosures because they maintain high toughness, durability and dimensional stability even at extreme cold and hot temperatures. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use in dusty or wet areas. The door features reinforced hinges and (2) latches. There is also a provision for padlock use. A break-away security seal is also provided in the accessory kit.

Inside features a textured aluminum mounting plate, aluminum cover to conceal the telephone wire and a wall mount RJ11 jack. A cable grommet is provided for the telephone wire.

This rugged dustproof and waterproof telephone enclosure is ideal for many industrial applications including tunnels and mining, railway and subway stations, refineries, cement and chemical plants, treatment facilities and loading docks.
