4 questions to ask customers about Access Control.
#1 Who has access to your facility and at what times?
An access control system can limit access to your business. You can
limit what days and times employees have access to the business. You
can setup times or codes for use by cleaning crews. The access control
system will record all this information.
#2 If someone breaks through your front door on a weekend what will happen?
The alarm system notifies you and the police. The access control system
can notify you that the door has opened and the CCTV system can capture
video of the intrusion.
#3 What types of access do you need?
You may want a keypad with a code or key fob/access card or even the use
of a cell phone. If you have a dress shop and your weekend employee
always forgets the keys. With a properly configured access control
system you can let them in or they could just use their phone. They
will forget their keys but never their phone.
#4 Can the system be accessed from outside the facility?
Most systems interface with the network and can be accessed from within
the business as well as through the internet through management
software.
