What Is USB-C?
USB-C is the new industry standard connector and cable used for connectivity and power.

Why do we need it? The new laptops are so thin that they have no space for older USB type connectors. The good thing about USB-C is there is no top or bottom orientation. Just line it up and you are good to go.

USB-C is ha a speed rating of 10Gbps the same as lightning. Look for a bunch of adapters for USB-C to USB 2.0 standard and USB 3.0 plugs to be available soon.
